Stop using Claude for your pitch decks!

AI tools are destroying good storytelling in pitch decks

fundraisingpitch decks

So, I have been seeing so many pitch decks generated by Claude or other agents lately.

The tells are so obvious (too much font, a love of three boxes, stylized headers, etc.).

There are way too many slides. The slides have way too many ideas on them. The font size is small, making the slide too dense for an effective pitch.

But the worst part is that there's no storytelling.

This isn't a checkbox exercise. A good deck isn't good because it has a slide for each "key component" of a pitch deck. It's good because you are building a connection with an investor to join you on a journey.

I'm not sure where people are getting this advice, but the pitch deck is one place to never rely on AI. This is your one chance to bring your personal story and vision to life. Outsourcing it to a chatbot? If you're going to do that, why are you an entrepreneur?
