The 106th American Meteorological Society (AMS) Annual Meeting convenes approximately 4,000 scientists, forecasters, broadcasters, emergency managers, and industry leaders in Houston, Texas from January 25–29, 2026, under the theme "Fast and Slow Thinking: The Human Factor in a Rapidly Changing World." Programming spans the atmospheric and environmental sciences, including weather forecasting and AI, climate change, hydrology, aerospace meteorology, satellite observation, aerosol–climate interactions, and stratospheric chemistry.
