The 2026 Americas Forum on Carbon Capture and Storage is a one-day event hosted by the Global CCS Institute on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at the Embassy of Australia in Washington, D.C. The Forum convenes senior leaders from government, industry, finance, non-governmental organizations, and academia for high-level dialogue on accelerating the deployment of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) across the Americas. Program topics typically cover U.S. and Canadian policy and regulatory landscapes, Latin American CCS opportunities, project pipelines in industrial decarbonization and power, CO2 transport and storage infrastructure, investment and tax-credit frameworks, and community engagement and environmental-justice considerations. The Forum is open to the public for anyone with an interest in carbon management and is followed on May 13 by the 2026 Americas Member Meeting at Arnold & Porter, a members-only gathering. The Institute offers preferred accommodation rates for Forum attendees at a nearby downtown hotel.
