2026 Nordic Workshop on AI for Climate Change

The 2026 Nordic Workshop on AI for Climate Change convenes June 26 at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, bringing together researchers, data scientists, and practitioners from Nordic and international organizations to advance artificial intelligence applications for climate mitigation, adaptation, and biodiversity protection. Organized by Climate AI Nordics in collaboration with The Pioneer Centre for AI and Climes (Swedish Centre for Impacts of Climate Extremes), this full-day workshop (09:00–18:00, plus social dinner) features keynotes, oral research talks, and poster sessions spanning AI methodology, climate modeling, machine learning for sustainability, and climate-tech applications. Topics include AI for renewable energy forecasting, climate impact prediction, ecosystem monitoring, and green energy transition. The 1,000 DKK registration fee (approximately USD 135–150) includes lunch, coffee, and dinner, attracting climate scientists, AI researchers, software engineers, and sustainability innovators.
