ACF Investors

ACF Investors (formerly Angel CoFund) is a £100M venture capital fund based in Sheffield, UK, that co-invests alongside syndicates of sector-smart angel investors into early-stage, high-growth UK businesses. Founded in 2011 and initially backed by the British Business Bank, ACF manages two vehicles: the Angel CoFund, which requires a syndicate of at least three sector-focused angels (including a lead committing at least £40,000), and the Delta Fund, which can move faster where a lead angel has deep sector knowledge and commits at least £70,000. ACF only invests if aligned with a sector-smart angel who has not participated in prior rounds; it co-shares due diligence pre-investment and provides ongoing post-investment support. Typical check sizes range from £100K to £1M per round, with equity investments made via the same or aligned share classes as co-investors. The fund invests across almost all sectors and has backed over 80 companies, deploying more than £40M alongside over £200M from angels and other investors.
