Amazon Climate Pledge Fund

Amazon Climate Pledge Fund is a $2 billion venture investment program launched in June 2020 to accelerate the development of sustainable and decarbonizing technologies supporting Amazon's net-zero carbon goal by 2040. The fund invests in early-stage through established companies across multiple industries including transportation, energy generation and storage, manufacturing and materials, and food and agriculture that can decrease the overall cost of decarbonization. With 58 total investments in companies developing solutions from electric vehicle charging infrastructure to zero-emission logistics and lower-carbon building materials, the Climate Pledge Fund combines Amazon's commercial requirements with venture capital discipline to scale climate solutions.
