Ananda Impact Ventures

Ananda Impact Ventures is a Munich-based impact venture capital firm founded in 2009, investing in early-stage, technology-driven startups across Europe. The firm manages approximately €270 million across five funds and is currently deploying capital from Fund V, which reached a €73 million first close in January 2026. Ananda invests at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages, with initial check sizes of €0.5–3.0 million and up to €8 million over the lifetime of a company. The firm targets founders building frontier technologies that address systemic social and environmental challenges, spanning sectors including energy transition, climate tech, healthcare, NatureTech, biodiversity, biosecurity, FemTech, EdTech, blue economy, space tech, and decarbonization of industry. Fund V is backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF), NRW.BANK, Investcorp-Tages, the Mercator Foundation, and over 40 European family offices.
