Big Pi Ventures
InvestorActiveBig Pi Ventures is an Athens, Greece-based multi-stage technology venture capital firm founded in 2018 by Marco Veremis, Alex Eleftheriadis, and Aristos Doxiadis. The firm operates two funds — an early-stage fund and Big Pi Growth I, the first tech growth equity fund out of Greece and Southeast Europe, which completed its first closing at €130 million in September 2025 and targets a €200 million final close. Total AUM stands at approximately €250 million. Equity tickets range from €0.5 million to €30 million across the fund family. The firm pursues a 'tech-first' strategy, backing companies with strong intellectual property in deep tech, AI, biotech, and B2B software. Portfolio companies are expected to maintain significant operations in Greece; the firm also targets the global Greek diaspora. LPs include the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments (HDBI), the European Investment Fund (EIF), the Onassis Foundation, and private investors. Beyond capital, the firm provides hands-on support across talent, operating strategy, client acquisition, market expansion, governance, and M&A.
