Building Circularity Conference (CirCon4Climate project)

ReShaping the Built Environment through Sustainability and Circularity Conference (ReSBE 2026) takes place October 20–23, 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece, organized by the Laboratory of Building Construction and Building Physics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, University of Minho, and the CircularB COST Action (CA21103), with support from the International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment (iiSBE). The conference examines circular design and construction practices including design for adaptability, material reuse and disassembly, material passports, and standardization; advances in bio-based and regenerative materials, advanced composites, and secondary raw materials through industrial symbiosis; lifecycle assessment methodologies, circularity metrics, monitoring frameworks, whole-life carbon accounting, and AI/IoT-enabled monitoring systems. Accepted papers are published by Springer Nature in Tracts in Civil Engineering (indexed in Scopus), elevating research rigor.
