Citizens’ Climate Lobby Conference

The Citizens' Climate Lobby Summer Conference and Lobby Day takes place July 26–28, 2026, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., bringing together hundreds of volunteer climate advocates, grassroots organizers, policy specialists, and civic leaders from across the United States. This two-day conference emphasizes climate policy education, carbon pricing mechanisms and economic instruments, equitable climate policy design, and advanced communications strategy development, followed by organized Capitol Hill lobbying activities where attendees meet directly with members of Congress to advocate for comprehensive bipartisan climate legislation. The integrated program combines educational sessions on climate science and solutions, skill-building workshops on policy persuasion and community organizing, peer-to-peer networking with fellow advocates, and coordinated outreach designed to mobilize grassroots political support for climate-focused policies addressing decarbonization, renewable energy acceleration, and climate justice outcomes.
