Climate Venture Capital Fund (CVCF) is an Australasian climate-tech venture capital series managed by 2040 Ventures Limited, headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. Climate Fund 1 launched in 2021 as New Zealand's first climate-focused venture fund, with ten active portfolio companies spanning water, energy, waste, agri-food, industrial, and marine sectors. It targets mitigation of 50 million tonnes CO₂-e by 2035 per $50 million deployed. The fund invests at minimum 70% in New Zealand, with the remainder in Australia.
