Climactic is a New York City and San Francisco-based venture fund that raised a $65M inaugural fund dedicated to software-first climate tech startups. Co-founded by Freestyle Capital's Josh Felser and former Lyft executive Raj Kapoor, the firm invests $1M-3M at the seed stage in companies decarbonizing the planet across energy, AI, automation, and robotics. The team, which also includes Paul Hawken and Van Jones, brings deep experience in scaling consumer technology companies and applies that expertise to climate founders building software-driven solutions.
