Earthshot Ventures is a climate-focused venture fund that spun out of Elemental Excelerator in 2021, led by Mike Jackson (15-year climate tech VC veteran, formerly with the Westly Group) and Dawn Lippert (founder and CEO of Elemental Impact). The firm invests $500K-2.5M initial checks in pre-seed through Series B hardware and software companies across energy, mobility, food and agriculture, industry, and carbon, reserving capital to double down on top performers. As part of the Elemental family of funds, Earthshot provides portfolio companies with access to a global network of operators, investors, and corporate partners, and focuses on companies past fundamental science risk that are ready to commercialize.
