The Ellen MacArthur Foundation convenes a major North American circular economy summit in partnership with the REMADE Institute (U.S. Department of Energy), March 11–12, 2026, in Washington, D.C. at the National Academy of Sciences building. The high-level forum brings together business executives and C-suite leaders, government policymakers, technology innovators, and academic researchers to accelerate systemic circularity and regenerative manufacturing, emphasizing rethinking product design for longevity and disassembly, developing innovative circular business models, and facilitating cross-sector collaboration on material flows and recovery. As the fourth annual Circular Economy Technology Summit, the event features over 50 peer-reviewed research papers on advanced materials recovery and recycling technologies, textile and apparel circularity solutions, remanufacturing and refurbishment processes, and university research on circular system innovation. Presentations examine pathways to increase material reuse, recovery, and recycling.
