Euclidean Capital

Euclidean Capital LLC is the family office of the late James Simons, the mathematician and founder of quantitative hedge fund Renaissance Technologies, established in 2009 and headquartered in New York, NY. The office manages the personal wealth of the Simons family and deploys capital across public equities, private companies, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, and infrastructure. Its private investment activity has spanned AI and machine learning, biotech and life sciences, data science, and scientific instrumentation, with documented investments in companies such as ASAPP, Duality Technologies, Codagenix, and Foghorn Therapeutics. Investment stages have ranged from Series A through growth equity and buyouts. The firm does not publicly disclose its total assets under management; its most recently disclosed 13F public-equity portfolio was valued at approximately $369 million as of December 31, 2025. Euclidean Capital does not accept external capital and is not open to outside investors. It is distinct from the Simons Foundation, the family's separate philanthropic vehicle.
