Accelerator, Incubator, FellowshipActiveEvergreen Climate Innovations, formerly Clean Energy Trust, is a Chicago-based nonprofit operating the 501vc revolving investment fund for pre-seed to Series A climate tech companies across the Greater Midwest. Returns from investments recycle back into the fund to support subsequent cohorts. It also administers named awards including the U.S. Bank Foundation Cleantech Award, the Nicor Gas Illinois Innovator Award, and the Heartland Climate Tech Partnership. Geography is the binding eligibility constraint: companies must be based in the Midwest.
