Expeditions Fund

Expeditions is a venture capital firm founded in 2021 and headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, with offices in London, Munich and Luxembourg, investing in European defence and dual-use technology. Its thesis covers deep tech that strengthens European security, including cybersecurity, intelligence, autonomy and autonomous systems, AI, quantum, privacy, secure communications and space. The firm looks for technologies with near-term operational relevance that close capability gaps in European defence and build sovereign capability. It backs founders building dual-use products for European security needs, and founders outside defence and security technology are unlikely to fit its mandate. Expeditions invests from pre-seed to Series A with tickets of about €250K to €5M, typically leads, and supports companies as they scale; its Fund II closed at €197M in July 2026, more than double its initial target.
