Extantia Capital is a climate tech venture capital firm founded in 2020 and based in Berlin, Germany, with team members in the UK and Germany, investing mainly in Europe. It backs software and hardware companies that address large, near-term market opportunities and can re-engineer industries to be faster, cheaper and more sustainable. Recent investments cover areas such as battery technology, humanoid robotics for manufacturing, fertiliser decarbonization, wildfire resilience and financing infrastructure for the energy transition. It looks for founders with technology that can change an industry and a clear path to a large market. Extantia invests from Seed to Series A and closed its flagship fund at EUR 204M in 2024.
