Future Energy Ventures

Future Energy Ventures (FEV) is a venture capital firm based in Berlin, Germany, that invests in energy transition startups in Europe, North America and other international markets. Its thesis sits at the intersection of the future of energy, the future of cities and the future of technologies, covering grid optimization and intelligence, energy storage, demand flexibility, e-mobility and the electrification of buildings and industry. It also backs AI, cybersecurity, robotics and advanced computing applied to energy systems. FEV favors digital, scalable and asset-light companies that help manage complexity and improve resilience across the energy system. It invests at Series A and Series B, with tickets of €1M to €5M at Series A and €5M to €10M at later stages, and decides whether to lead case by case.
