Green Angel Ventures
InvestorActiveGreen Angel Ventures is a London-based, FCA-regulated early-stage climate tech investor founded in 2013. It operates through two vehicles: the Green Angel Syndicate, a network of 300+ specialist angel members who co-invest in individually vetted deals, and the EIS Climate Change Fund (CCF), a tax-efficient evergreen fund for more passive investors seeking diversified exposure. Investment selection is based solely on a company's demonstrable ability to reduce or remove carbon emissions. Target sectors include energy, food and agriculture, water, the built environment, waste and recycling, and natural resources. Typical check sizes range from £200k to £1.5m, often alongside co-investors, and the firm is willing to lead or follow. Portfolio companies must be UK-based, EIS-eligible, at MVP/TRL-5 stage or above, and have an exit plan within 3–7 years. Green Angel Ventures screens 1,000+ applications annually and invests in roughly 7–10 new companies per year. To date it has deployed £50m+ across 50+ portfolio companies and reports 449,000 tonnes of CO2e saved. Founders apply via an online form at greenangelsyndicate.com/applyforfunding.
