InvestorActiveHV Capital is a Munich-based, independent European venture capital firm founded in 2000 as Holtzbrinck Ventures, becoming independent in 2010. With €2.8 billion in assets under management across nine fund generations, HV backs European founders from Seed through Growth stages. Its Venture Fund leads Seed and Series A rounds with investments of €500K–€10M, while its Growth Fund deploys up to €60M at Series B and beyond, with follow-on capital of up to €100M. The firm has invested in more than 290 companies across consumer internet, fintech, SaaS, deep tech, AI, defense, and space, with notable portfolio companies including Zalando, Delivery Hero, FlixBus, SumUp, Neura Robotics, Isar Aerospace, and Quantum Systems.
