Industrifonden is Sweden's independent venture capital fund, founded by the Swedish government in 1979 and now operating as a fully market-oriented VC with an evergreen fund structure. Based in Stockholm, it invests primarily in Swedish companies and, for Deep Tech and Life Science, across the broader Nordic region. The fund focuses on three areas: Deep Tech (advanced materials, AI, energy, Industry 4.0, synthetic biology), Life Science (biotech, medtech, healthtech), and Transformative Tech (disruptive B2B models). It targets early-stage companies from pre-seed through Series A, with a typical first ticket of 10–50 million SEK and the capacity to invest considerably more over a company's lifecycle. The evergreen structure allows Industrifonden to take a long-term view without pressure for quick exits. Founders are invited to submit a pitch deck directly to a relevant investment team member via the team page.
