Innovation Industries

Innovation Industries is a Netherlands-based deep tech venture capital fund founded in 2017, with offices in Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and Munich. The firm raised €500 million for its third fund in May 2024, which focuses on financing deep tech companies in the Benelux and Germany. Combined with its €100 million Strategic Partners Fund for portfolio scale-ups, the firm manages approximately €900 million in total assets. Innovation Industries invests across stages from pre-seed through growth, with initial check sizes starting at €1.5–2M through its Early Stars Fund and up to €50M per portfolio company over multiple rounds across its main funds. The firm concentrates on three verticals: industrial tech (semiconductors, photonics, AI, quantum computing, advanced materials), med tech (medical robotics, diagnostics, regenerative medicine), and food & agri tech (agricultural robotics, crop protection, genetics). The fund has invested in 58 companies over its lifetime, averaging roughly four new investments per year. Its geographic focus is Europe, with a strong emphasis on the Netherlands.
