International Conference on Tourism (ICOT 2026)

The International Conference on Tourism (ICOT 2026) convenes 24–27 June 2026 in Mytilene, Lesvos Island, Greece, bringing together academics, tourism professionals, hospitality practitioners, destination managers, and policymakers to explore sustainable and climate-resilient tourism practices in the 21st century. Building on fifteen iterations across China, Thailand, United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Cyprus, and prior Greek venues, ICOT 2026 emphasizes the nexus between tourism, transportation decarbonization, and regional sustainable development. The conference addresses themes including sustainable destination management, climate adaptation in island and coastal tourism, renewable energy integration in hospitality, circular economy practices in tourism supply chains, responsible travel policies, and community-based tourism models.
