International Conference on Water, Energy, Food and Sustainability (ICoWEFS 2026)

The International Conference on Water, Energy, Food and Sustainability (ICoWEFS 2026) convenes 13–15 May 2026 at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre, Portugal, bringing together researchers, water and energy engineers, agricultural scientists, policy analysts, and sustainability professionals to advance integrated solutions to the water–energy–food nexus. Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, the conference assembles participants from academia, government agencies, development organizations, and private sector to examine interdependencies among water availability, energy systems, food production, and environmental resilience.
