Marble
InvestorActiveClaimedMarble is a climate tech venture studio based in Paris, France, founded in 2021 by Benjamin Tincq and Jonny Everett. It partners with scientists, engineers, and operators to co-create deep tech startups targeting hard climate problems — emissions reduction, carbon removal, and climate resilience. Participants join as Founders-in-Residence for a 12-month program in which Marble helps scope high-impact opportunity areas, develop the most promising idea into an investable pre-seed company, and recruit co-founders. No prior idea, team, or IP is required. During the program, founders receive a €2,500–€3,000 monthly stipend. If the venture is successfully formed, Marble invests €250,000 at pre-seed, with founders and their team retaining 80% ownership. Marble describes itself as the only deep tech venture studio in Europe focused exclusively on climate. Remote participation is possible, preferably from Europe, with regular in-person meetings; Marble can sponsor a French Founder Visa for those relocating. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis via Ashby.
