Meliorate Partners is a Mercer Island, Washington-based venture firm founded in 2014 by Brock Mansfield that manages a group of early-stage funds investing at the founder to pre-seed stage in innovations reimagining an economy where nature and humanity thrive together. The firm's portfolio spans transportation, apparel, housing, food production, manufacturing, and waste management, with notable investments including Blue Nalu (cell-based seafood), Algenesis (algae-based materials), and Lilac Solutions (lithium extraction). Mansfield also founded EnVest, the largest community of early-stage environmental funds in the U.S., whose portfolio has produced companies with a combined value exceeding $3 billion.
