OVNI Capital is a Paris-based, early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2022 by General Partners Arnaud Laurent and Augustin Sayer, with offices in San Francisco and Paris. The firm focuses on first-check investments in deep tech startups — spanning sectors such as AI, climate tech, photonics, aerospace, biotech, and cybersecurity — that have strong potential for global scale. OVNI targets pre-seed and seed rounds with check sizes ranging from €250K to €2M, and can follow on up to €4M in later rounds. The firm raised a €50M Fund I (first close announced in early 2023) and invests exclusively in the US and Europe, with a particular emphasis on European founders scaling internationally. OVNI's portfolio includes approximately 12 companies to date, with notable investments in NcodiN, Resolve Stroke, baCta, and Rift. The firm is backed by over 200 limited partners, including 50 French tech entrepreneurs who can serve as operational advisors and board members for portfolio companies.
