RE Ventures

RE Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of the Romande Energie Group, a major Swiss electricity producer and distributor headquartered in Morges, Switzerland. Launched in 2022–2023, RE Ventures invests in early-stage cleantech startups based in Switzerland and Europe that are developing technologies and solutions to accelerate the energy transition and climate protection. Investments are up to CHF 1 million per startup. Beyond capital, portfolio companies gain access to the Swiss market, Romande Energie's industry expertise, and a curated ecosystem of startups and investors. The team conducts active scouting and market analysis to identify companies aligned with the group's mission of decarbonizing Western Switzerland and beyond. Portfolio companies include URBIO, TAYO, PROXIPEL, YORD, HYPERION, POPETY, and ENERDRAPE. Founders can submit a pitch via the contact form on the RE Ventures website.
