Silicon Catalyst Angels
InvestorActiveSilicon Catalyst Angels is an angel group founded in 2019 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, created by seasoned semiconductor investors, engineers, and executives. It was spawned from Silicon Catalyst, a semiconductor-focused incubator/accelerator, and draws its deal flow primarily from companies vetted and admitted to that program. Members are semiconductor industry veterans who invest at the seed and early stage in startups building silicon-based solutions, including semiconductors, MEMS, sensors, photonics, AI chips, and advanced computing hardware. Since launching in July 2019, the group's members have collectively invested approximately $3.5 million across 21 portfolio companies. Investment terms vary and may include priced preferred equity, SAFEs, or convertible notes. Startups can submit a pitch via the group's website; founders interested in pitching can apply through the pitching request form. The group also runs a 'Pitch Perfect' coaching program to help founders refine their investor communications.
