Seventh Global Climate and SDG Synergy Conference

The Sixth Global Conference on Strengthening Synergies between the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development convened policymakers, scientists, government representatives, and climate-action advocates to advance integrated pathways for achieving climate and sustainable development goals simultaneously. Held May 27–28, 2025, at UN City in Copenhagen, Denmark—not October 2025 in New York as initially recorded—the conference was hosted by Denmark's Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the theme "Unleashing Synergies Towards an Equitable, Climate-Resilient, and Sustainable Future." Nearly 400 in-person participants from over 50 countries and hundreds of additional online participants engaged in high-level policy sessions, working groups on climate-resilient development pathways, panels on innovative financing mechanisms, and multi-stakeholder dialogues addressing critical interconnections between climate mitigation, adaptation, and sustainable development implementation strategies globally.
