The Stanford Sustainability Accelerator speeds research translation into scalable solutions for global sustainability challenges across multiple sectors including biological solutions, climate adaptation, electricity, food and agriculture, greenhouse gas removal, industry, and water. Led by Stanford faculty with industry cohorts, the program provides funding, mentorship, and expert connections, currently supporting over 90 interdisciplinary projects organized into cohorts working toward ambitious sustainability goals. Recent cohorts have selected 41 projects ranging from plant-based meat alternatives to low-carbon steel production to coastal climate adaptation solutions.
