Sustainability Science Summit 2027

Sustainability Science Summit 2026 is a research-focused conference organized by the German Committee Future Earth (DKN) in partnership with UNIDO and the German Research Foundation, bringing together sustainability researchers, natural and social scientists, policymakers, practitioners, and thought leaders. While specific 2026 dates and location remain to be confirmed (previously held in German cities in February), the summit provides a premier platform for exchanging scientific findings on sustainability, identifying research gaps, and discussing research funding and policy implications. The event emphasizes transdisciplinary collaboration bridging academic institutions, government policy implementation, corporate sustainability practices, and NGO advocacy across environmental data analytics, circular economy science, supply-chain sustainability, and climate mitigation. Approximately 250+ participants are expected from universities, research institutes, government agencies, international organizations, and civil society sectors globally.
