U.S. Innovative Technology Fund
InvestorActiveUnited States Innovative Technology (USIT) is a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based venture capital firm founded in 2022 by former Legendary Entertainment CEO Thomas Tull. It backs early- and growth-stage technology companies with dual-use applications across the commercial sector and defense industry—defense tech, artificial intelligence, logistics, space, tech bio, and future of compute, alongside autonomous systems, cybersecurity, and quantum computing. USIT invests across the United States and ranges from Seed through Series C rounds, and will write large checks into capital-intensive deals—it participated in Lambda's $1.5B+ Series E in November 2025. Its flagship fund is a 2023 vintage vehicle with a size of $1.78B, with Guggenheim Partners as sole limited partner; more broadly, the firm managed $4.26 billion in client assets as of December 31, 2024. Best-fit founders are those building commercially scalable technologies with clear national-security relevance.
