Viola Ventures is an Israeli early-stage venture capital firm founded in 2000 by Avi Zeevi and Shlomo Dovrat, and part of Viola Group, Israel's largest technology investment group. With $1.5B under management across seven funds, the firm backs Israeli and Israeli-related startups from inception — including pre-seed ideation — through Seed and Series A rounds. Its current flagship vehicle, Viola Ventures Fund VII (first close December 2025, activation H1 2026), targets approximately 20 investments in Vertical AI, Enterprise AI, Fintech, AI Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Quantum, and Defense Tech. Typical initial check sizes range from $1M to $10M. The firm is headquartered in Herzliya and operates a value-add platform called Viola Velocity, providing portfolio companies access to a curated network of Fortune 500 C-suite executives, as well as a Leadership Circle of senior global tech executives who serve as strategic advisors and board members. Notable portfolio companies include ironSource, Payoneer, Redis, Pagaya, Lightricks, and Immunai.
