WateReuse Symposium 2026

The 41st Annual WateReuse Symposium convenes March 8 to 11, 2026 at the InterContinental Downtown Los Angeles, assembling the global water recycling community including municipal utilities, industrial water managers, regulatory agencies, research institutions, technology providers, and nonprofit organizations focused on expanding water reuse to build climate-resilient water supplies. The premier conference showcases knowledge-sharing and networking across all reuse application pathways including direct and indirect potable reuse projects, agricultural and landscape irrigation, industrial process water recycling, and onsite treatment systems. The comprehensive agenda addresses policy development and regulatory frameworks enabling reuse, health standards and water quality assurance for recycled water, advanced treatment technologies, public communication and acceptance strategies, energy requirements and greenhouse gas implications, and affordability mechanisms for disadvantaged communities. A keynote by oceanographer Philippe Cousteau Jr. emphasizes the global freshwater crisis.
