The 18th International Green Energy Conference (IGEC-18), held jointly with the 7th International Conference on Energy and AI, takes place October 4–8, 2026 at the W Hotel on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Organized by the International Association for Green Energy and hosted by Khalifa University, the conference was postponed from its original May 3–7, 2026 dates due to regional security and travel considerations. IGEC is a multidisciplinary forum bringing together researchers, engineers, industry practitioners, and policymakers to discuss energy systems and technologies that minimize environmental, economic, and social impacts. Topics span renewable energy generation (solar, wind, hydrogen, bioenergy, geothermal), energy storage, smart grids, nuclear energy, carbon capture, building energy systems, transportation electrification, and the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to energy optimization, control, and policy.
