The 1st International Conference on VLSI, Embedded Systems, Data Communication, Artificial Intelligence and Signal Processing (VEDAS 2026) will be held March 26–27, 2026 at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham's Chennai campus in Tamil Nadu, India, organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of the Amrita School of Engineering. The inaugural edition, convened under Dr. V. Jayakumar, brings together researchers, academicians, industry engineers, and graduate students from across India and abroad to present advances at the intersection of semiconductor design, embedded computing, communications, and artificial intelligence. Technical tracks cover VLSI circuit and system design, low-power and reconfigurable architectures, embedded systems and IoT, wireless and wired data communication, AI and machine-learning hardware and algorithms, and digital signal processing for emerging applications. The program features keynote lectures, peer-reviewed paper presentations, tutorials, and industry interactions, positioning VEDAS 2026 as a new forum for hardware–software co-innovation.
