2026 MRS Fall Meeting & Exhibit

The Materials Research Society's Fall Meeting is the largest annual gathering of the global materials research community, filling the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston with dozens of parallel symposia proposed and organised by researchers rather than committees. The 2026 programme runs from theory and characterisation through synthesis and application, with heavy coverage of quantum materials, energy materials, batteries, semiconductors and sustainability. Thousands of academics, national lab scientists, corporate R&D groups and instrumentation vendors attend, alongside tutorials, plenaries and a large exhibit hall. For deep tech founders and technical investors it is where next-generation material platforms surface two to five years before they reach a pitch deck.
