Adaptation Fund Climate Innovation Accelerator (AFCIA)
Accelerator, Incubator, FellowshipActiveAFCIA is an adaptation-focused accelerator run by the WFP Innovation Accelerator together with the Adaptation Fund, identifying and scaling locally rooted climate resilience solutions for communities exposed to extreme weather. Its nine-month sprint programme combines business-oriented training, mentoring and technical assistance with up to US$200,000 in equity-free funding per startup admitted. It is aimed at seed-stage or later legal entities operating in, or building a presence in, the target countries of the current call.
