Asia Climate Summit (ACS) - 2026

The Asia Climate Summit returns to Hong Kong for the first time, taking place July 7–9, 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Organized by IETA and co-hosted by Hong Kong's Financial Services and Treasury Bureau, Securities & Futures Commission, and Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, ACS 2026 brings senior leaders from business, government, finance, and civil society to examine carbon market mechanisms, pricing derivatives, and voluntary versus compliance carbon market structures. The summit combines regional insights with global perspectives on how market-based solutions can drive credible climate action, investment, and sustainable growth, with particular focus on carbon trading frameworks in Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia. High-level plenaries and expert-led discussions deliver practical insights into evolving carbon regulations, emerging market mechanisms, voluntary carbon credit standards, and the infrastructure needed to scale effective carbon markets across Asia-Pacific. Participants address both compliance market development and the role of voluntary carbon markets in corporate climate commitments.
