Banner VC is an Austin, Texas-based venture capital firm founded by Brooks Morgan and Adam Ramada, both former staffers at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The firm closed its debut fund (Fund I) at approximately $225 million in mid-2026, having begun raising in late 2025. Banner focuses on aerospace, defense, space infrastructure, dual-use hardware, AI infrastructure, and advanced optics, backing founders building what it describes as the next generation of American innovation. The firm has demonstrated a willingness to write large checks at growth stage, co-leading Impulse Space's $500 million Series D alongside 137 Ventures, Founders Fund, Lux Capital, and Linse Capital via a ~$75 million syndication. Disclosed portfolio companies include Impulse Space, Special, Mesh Optical Technologies, SpaceX, xAI, and Terrafirma.
