Bioneers 2026 Conference

The 37th annual Bioneers Conference takes place March 26–28, 2026 at UC Berkeley's Zellerbach Hall and downtown Berkeley venues, gathering thousands of environmental visionaries, climate activists, ecological scientists, artists, educators, Indigenous knowledge keepers, and social leaders exploring nature-inspired solutions for climate justice and regenerative practices. The three-day conference features morning plenary sessions and afternoon tracks with keynote presentations including One Fair Wage president Saru Jayaraman, deep-dive workshops on environmental solutions, the world-renowned Indigenous Forum, youth programs, art installations and performances, film screenings, and networking. Sessions span climate solutions, conservation, biodiversity protection, indigenous knowledge, and community resilience. Bioneers uniquely brings together academic researchers from UC Berkeley alongside frontline community leaders, grassroots environmental organizers, and on-the-ground innovators building resilient, equitable communities and ecosystems.
