Chalmers Ventures

Chalmers Ventures is the deep-tech investor and venture builder within the Chalmers University of Technology entrepreneurial ecosystem, based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Founded in 2015, it operates an evergreen investment structure — returns are reinvested to fuel new research and innovation — and combines venture creation with direct investment under one roof. Its deal flow focuses primarily on deep tech and university spin-outs with global commercial and impact potential. Financing is structured in three phases: pre-seed (up to 1 MSEK, Chalmers Ventures solo), seed (up to 5 MSEK, with co-investors), and growth capital (up to 25 MSEK, with co-investors), with a maximum of 25 MSEK invested in any single portfolio company. The firm actively syndicates with external angel and VC investors and invites co-investment. Beyond capital, it offers venture creation programs including a Venture Building Program, Tech Matching for Encubation, Tech Transfer track, mentorship, and open coaching.
