EEI 2026 is the Edison Electric Institute's annual convention, the electric power industry's premier executive gathering, taking place June 2–4, 2026 at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference is organized by EEI, the trade association representing all U.S. investor-owned electric companies, and convenes utility C-suite leaders, government officials, regulators, policymakers, technology partners, and industry stakeholders to address grid modernization, power generation, regulatory policy, sustainability, and emerging technologies. Relevant industries include electric utilities, grid infrastructure, clean energy, energy storage, nuclear and advanced generation, grid security, and utility-facing software and hardware. For founders building in power, grid, or utility-adjacent deep tech, EEI is a high-signal venue for engaging directly with investor-owned utility decision-makers responsible for large-scale infrastructure procurement and pilot deployments, though attendance is executive-oriented and not open to the general public — participation is typically through EEI membership, sponsorship, or invitation.
