EIC Rose Rock
InvestorActiveEIC Rose Rock is a seed-stage energy technology venture capital fund based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, launched in October 2022. It is a partnership between Energy Innovation Capital (EIC), the George Kaiser Family Foundation (GKFF), and Fortune 500 energy company founding partners Devon, ONEOK, Williams, and Helmerich & Payne. The fund invests in seed and early-stage companies developing innovative technologies across three themes: energy transition (renewables, storage, transport electrification, alternative fuels), sustainability (emissions reduction, carbon capture, hydrogen, water treatment, bio-based chemicals), and energy digitization (IoT, AI/ML analytics, autonomous systems, advanced manufacturing). EIC Rose Rock also operates the EIC Fusion program, which connects portfolio startups with corporate partners for innovation collaboration. Coalition partners include Rose Rock Bridge (Tulsa's energy tech incubator) and Tulsa Innovation Labs. The fund prioritizes companies based in Oklahoma or of high strategic interest to its Oklahoma-based founding partners.
