A two-month, curriculum-based commercialization training program run for the US Department of Energy's Office of Technology Commercialization, adapted from the NSF I-Corps curriculum for the national laboratory environment. Selected teams complete at least 75 stakeholder interviews and build a market-adoption business model with support from industry mentors and instructors. Each team selected for a training cohort receives $100,000 to support its participation, with separate topics funding pipeline development and post-cohort technology advancement. Eligibility is limited to researchers at DOE National Laboratories, plants and sites rather than independent founders.
