European Climate Change Adaptation Conference (ECCA)

Biennial European research and policy conference uniting 500+ climate scientists, policymakers, regional administrators, practitioners, and sustainability stakeholders to advance climate adaptation and resilience strategies across the continent. The most recent confirmed conference, ECCA2025, will be held June 16-18, 2025, in Rimini, Italy; the next edition (ECCA2027) is expected to follow the biennial schedule. ECCA serves as the central platform for exchanging peer-reviewed research, policy innovations, and field-tested adaptation implementation across water resources management, agriculture, public health, critical infrastructure, and ecosystem conservation. Sessions address water scarcity adaptation, flood risk reduction, heat-health strategies, biodiversity conservation under changing climates, and climate-resilient development.
