Exergon

Exergon is a pan-European venture capital fund based in Paris, France, launched in 2024, that invests in deep tech for the energy transition across Europe. It invests in three verticals: new nuclear, energy storage, and energy efficiency and AI. Its thesis centers on a cleaner, more secure and more sustainable use of energy in key sectors of the economy such as industry, mobility and electrified appliances, with a focus on disruptive decarbonization technologies. The team evaluates companies on the credibility and cohesion of the team, the technology, sustainability and market potential, using a scientific and economic lens. Exergon is a multi-stage fund, investing from Seed and Series A through Series B and later, with tickets from €300K to €8M. Beyond capital, it works to build links within its portfolio and with its industrial and financial partners, which include French research bodies CNRS and CEA.
