Fusion Fest 2027

Fusion Fest 2027 is Economist Impact's dedicated fusion energy conference, held Tuesday April 27, 2027 at Convene 200 Aldersgate near St. Paul's in London, and co-located with the organizer's Nuclear Summit the following day. The single-day format draws roughly 400 attendees from 300-plus companies across 20-plus countries, with about 52% at director level or above and around 60 speakers spanning government, national laboratories, private fusion developers, and energy-intensive industrial buyers. Sessions address how quickly fusion can move from laboratory to grid, the regulatory frameworks and investment pathways needed to get there, and demand-side applications across manufacturing, aerospace, and hyperscale data centres. For fusion and adjacent deep tech founders — magnets, power electronics, tritium handling, advanced materials — it is a rare venue where the customer, regulator, and capital sides of the fusion market are all in one room.
